I am so sorry for the lack of updates! I haven’t been feeling much in the mood for fansites lately and as such I let Lovely Lauren Crace fall by the wayside. However, I’m feeling much better towards fansites once more and I’m also feeling less stressed with real life going-ons so you can expect updates soon, including DVD quality captures of Lauren in Mr. Selfridge!
Ex EastEnders star Lauren Crace said playing a Edwardian shopgirl in ITV1′s Mr Selfridge came ‘very naturally’ to her.
Lauren, 26, played Ronnie Mitchell’s ill-fated daughter Danielle in EastEnders, but said playing an Accessories assistant in the lavish period drama wasn’t so difficult.
Lauren joked: “I mean, I worked in retail for years, so luckily it came very natural to me, standing behind counters, doing nothing, folding up stuff. We only work in Accessories and there’s only so many times you can fold the same glove and make yourself look busy!”
She said Mr Selfridge was a new experience after EastEnders: “It’s very different, it’s nice to sort of go from a long-running institution that everyone knows about to something brand new, a hundred years previous, [with] the costumes and characters very different.”

After this, updates may come to a bit of a halt until Lauren’s episode of Shameless airs later this year unless there is news regarding her 2010 project Room at the Top which never aired, I find old images of her that are not yet on the site, or complete videos of her television appearances to make screencaptures. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long!

I would like to apologize for my absence on this site and it’s lack of updates. I first stopped updating because I had some technical issues with my computer and then just when they were almost fixed, problems arose in my personal life. Things are still very much a struggle but I’m beginning to feel that I can “get back to business” with my fansites and return to properly updating them. It may take awhile for them to get completely up to date, but I will be doing my best while still dealing with my personal situation.
